We have been making wellington boot racks from our home here in Perranuthnoe, Cornwall since 2010.
Being a family of six and living in a rural area we always had a big pile of boots cluttering up the floor. We were forever tripping over the wellies and cleaning up muddy, wet puddles.
We needed a solution to our problem, something to keep the boots off the floor and out of the way. Geoff had made something similar for his grandmother years ago and instantly decided to make one for ourselves.
Within days of it going up on the wall outside we started to get knocks on the door asking if we made them. And so Wellyracks was born.
Since then we have listen to our customers and perfected the rack making the pegs removable and of different sizes to accommodate all sorts of boots not just wellies.

During Covid-19 we were unable to obtain the timber required to make our boot racks. All that was available was construction timber. This meant we had to diversify a little and so started making heavy duty picnic tables and garden planters. You can find out more about these products and more by visiting Bowmans Woodcrafts
